Instead of Reading, 'Riting, and 'Rithmetic (what poor speller came up with that list anyway?), we focus more on 3 R's suggested in a book by John Rosemond. These are
RESPECTFULNESS
RESOURCEFULNESS
and
RESPONSIBILITY
Considering recent development such as this article identifies, it seems to us that some of the traditional educational methods and focus need to be changed. So we're working on it.... one day at a time!
